Mommy and My Boy’s

Shawn’s sister and brother-in-law, Danielle and Yuji, found out yesterday that they are having another little boy in March!  Colby is very excited to be a big brother and has a list of things he is willing to share.  ha!  We are so excited for your new little addition and can hardly wait until spring!

Congrats!!

I cannot believe my baby is now 7yrs. old.  he is the funniest kid ever!  he continuously makes our family laugh at all his shinanigans.  this gives an example of how crazy he is:  this year he wanted a doughnut maker and a dirt bike!  a couple years ago he wanted a bird bath!  whew.  thank God for ebay cause that’s the only place i can find the weird things he comes up with!

here are some pics from his birthday party.  we had a houseful of fun!  since jacob’s birthday is close to halloween we like to have the kids dress up to get some extra wear outta their costumes.  we also had some extra special cousins come down from michigan for the weekend and come to the party.  the great grama’s (ages 94 and 91) were also here and were having a blast of a time.

How Fast Am I Driving?

See the fly swatter hanging from the rearview mirror?  Yes, we did follow this vehicle for like FOREVER and i couldnt resist taking this pic!  Who drives around with a flyswatter in their truck….it’s a small truck, no backseat.  seriously!

ok, i have later learned that one of my friends (who is younger than me) had one in her van but used it to swat the kids with when they were misbehaving!  great idea, huh?

It seems too good to be true so i wanted to pass this info along…..

You know the $8 eyeglasses i suggested in my blogroll to the right?  well, we just received the glasses for Jacob and they are really nice.  The glasses are just as good a quality as the ones i purchased for him at walmart or other optical stores.  i did call our nurse just to verify some information on his prescription when placing the online order. the total was $8 for the glasses and $4.95 for shipping…total of $12.95!  i would definately recommend that everyone order from them.  maybe even if you only need a second pair for a backup~ it’s totally worth it!  especially when you have boys that are pretty rough on just about everything they own.

The boys had some fun outside playing with their cousins yesterday.  enjoy!
