It took us all day to make our gingerbread house but it turned out really cute and it was sure yummy.

My dog, flash, is feeling very chilly these days so jacob decided to put some earmuffs on him.  Jacob actually calls them “earmuffins” and flash seemed to like them.

for those of you who are seeking wii games for christmas…..i have walmart’s black friday deals and some are on sale for apx. $16!  the ad pic isnt that great of quality but it looks like they are games that have been out for awhile.  if you are like me though, i cringe at spending $50 on one game so i am gonna check them out.

Some of you may have not read about this but Christians in China are being persecuted now for wearing a band that says “pray for china”.  i got one of these bands when they first came out and wore it during the olympics.  i got so many kind comments on it that i thought i would share with you how to get one.

Here is what part of the article says:

The Chinese government calls this prayer band a “national politically sensitive item”. Officials are searching the entire country for these bands and those distributing them—simply because they are praying for China.

One Chinese Christian told us:

“For the national government, the prayer bands are a symbol of a revolution, and the government is very scared … they think prayer is a national security threat.”

A well-known house church leader was held 11 days by police, who accused him of having an “illegal business operation” for distributing prayer bands free of charge. Yet, he is not afraid. He told us:

“The police can stop us from wearing the prayer bands, but they can’t stop us from praying. Many Chinese brothers and sisters are still wearing the prayer bands without fear.”
