Items To Pray For This Week
1.) PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN
Countless North Korean children have been orphaned; many are enslaved, abused, homeless, starving, sick, or living in dangerous circumstances. The tragedy and suffering they have endured is inestimable.
Please pray for all North Korean children to be rescued from the powers of darkness; that God would bring about a mighty deliverance so that this entire generation will live, have hope and a future and know His love, and for each of these children to be completely healed and completely blessed through the power of Jesus.
2.) PRAY FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST THEIR HOMES IN U.S.
Many families have lost their jobs, homes, all possessions and even hope. Please pray that they will find jobs, shelter and Jesus to help provide for their families….locally and across the country. I watched a program yesterday that made me so sad. Families have started tent cities, although illegal, they have nowhere else to stay because shelters are over capacity. I hope that some cities try to help w/housing them until they can find employment.
3.) A FRIEND BATTLING CANCER
There is a friend in our community that needs our prayers. Her name is Tracey and she is passionate about Christ. Please lift her up as she continues her battle w/cancer. I am sure her spirits are low. She has a very young family that needs prayer also.
Always pray first! We aren’t to pray as a last resort – going to our friends first, then to a pastor or counselor, and finally ending up on our knees. No – Jesus tells us, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). We’re to go to the Lord first – before anyone!
Fun Snack To Make w/Kids.
Since we had early release today from school the boys made a fun snack for after dinner. We took strawberry flavored marshmallows, poked them with a toothpick and melted some dark chocolate to dip them in. We had grama patterson come down for dessert. we all loved them! Their favorite things in life are: marshmallows and chocolate so it made for the perfect dessert!
Camping Anyone?
Since it’s still cold outside i thought it might be fun to have a little camping trip inside. why not pull out the sleeping bags and make a tent under your dining room table. I found this idea of making a “coleman” latern out of a peanut butter jar for really cheap. The best part of this is that we can make smores on the stove! YUMMY! Happy Camping!
Alyssa’s First Pedicure!
I decided to get Alyssa her first pedicure in honor of our first girls’ day spa outting. She loved her brink pink toes! She will be 5 months on 3/5!! Dont you just love her rolls?

The coupon states you must purchase any size drink to get a free arby’s roast burger. they actually have 3 different types of roast beef burgers to choose from. I got the “all american” and found it to be quite tastey (although pretty messy w/all the sauces on it~watch out if you are driving while eating!) Both deals are ongoing (quiznos coupon is good for 2 weeks from signup/printout and arby’s coupon is good through 3/9/09)
