Not too much going on at cvs this week. here are the deals i scored:
1 Always Infinity Pads 36ct on sale for $4.99 (This is a hidden deal! they are not sale tagged in the store. without your card they are $10.79)
1 Freestyle Lite Glucose Monitor $9.99
1 Downy Fabric Softner $4.79
2 Sunsilk Shampoo $4.29
1 Trident Gum $1.29
Coupons Used:
-$5 CVS $5/$30 coupon
-$9.99 FreeStyle Lite Blood Glucose Monitoring System, 5/17/09 ss
(there is also -$9.99 mail in rebate included in package – am not sure if you can still get the extra 9.99 or not but will try…)
-$4 Always Infinity 36 ct, P&G 6/7/09
-$2 Sunsilk coupon (I am sorry but i forget where i got this coupon from!)
TOTAL OOP: $10.37
***The Freestyle Blood Glucose Monitoring System is something that i will be donating to a local clinic……please realize that with the coupon the item is free and will come in handy to reach a higher total (otherwise, it would have been impossible for me to spend $30 at CVS this week–the deals were no good!) and it can help someone who needs a monitor but might not be able to afford one!

Mr. Wonderful, My Dad, My Brother and all the Kids (Mike not in photo)
Mr. Wonderful had a rough start to his Father’s Day. He caught a stomach bug and had to stay home from church today. Unfortunately, he caught the bug from me and before that Jacob had it. we’ve all had “operation thunder from down under” for the past couple days. not fun. loaded up on sprite and tums.
We went out to my parents to pick up jacob. My brother and sis-in-law grilled out for my dad. I got to eat a little of the yummies but Mr. Wonderful needed to go home. At least he got a much needed nap when we did get home and then tonight we will be off to a cookout at his sisters w/his dad. Poor guy hasnt eaten real food in a couple days so not sure if he will get to enjoy some dog-dogs off the fire….
I have to say that i was totally out of gift ideas for the man. he seriously doesnt need anything. so the boys and i decided to get daddy a fish. Mr. Wonderful named him Rutger. (As a side note, this name was on the plate for naming one of our boys! Thank the Lord he finally has some use for that name!)
Welp, i hope all you dads out there are enjoying your day! Love You!

We took the boys, some friends and family to the Fort Wayne Tincaps Baseball Game on last night. This is a brand new baseball park that was just opened this year on April 16, 2009.

Mr. Wonderful, me, Logan and Jacob
We got a behind-the-scenes look at the new park as my brother-in-law, Mike, is the President of the team. They have such a wonderful new facility and loads of fun activities for kids at the game. They also have yummiest food. I had a bbq pulled pork sandwich that was to die for! just walking past the vendor i was salivating! The boys had corn dogs and cheeseburgers w/fries. later in the night we enjoyed ice cream cones. You must try their Chocolate Cookies N Cream flavor~delicious!
The kiddos had a good time playing in their “Kids Zone”. It has inflatables, bounce house, t-ball hitting, basketball shots, and a rock wall. Most of the older boys climbed the wall and they all had a couple rounds of bouncing or b-ball of some kind.
It was an exciting game~the Tincaps WON 5-4 in 10 innings! The Tincaps had their last hit in the 10th inning which allowed them to clench the win! The crowd went wild (or maybe it was just me~i couldnt help but scream until i was horse!) . the evening was perfect for such an outing. We had our group setting in the “lawn seats”. Great place to let the kids rumble and spread out a blanket to relax. After the game we enjoyed their fireworks….i am telling you that you really dont need to go see fourth of july fireworks, just go to a game where they shoot em off! Crazy awesome crackers shot off in the middle of the field!
If you havent been to a game yet you should definitely go! it’s a wonderful time for the whole family!

Have friends sleepover and campout in tents in backyard.
Take a bike ride
Spend time w/grandparents
Go to somethin’ fun
Go swimming at center lake
